Reading Mac files on external hard drive via Windows 10. What I need to know if there is a safe program that exists to install on a Surface Pro 4 (Windows 10) that will allow it to read the Mac Time Machine backups file on my external hard drive so I can extract my iTunes content and save onto the Surface Pro 4. I have transferred all my.
Sorry to bring up an old thread.but I have a MAC & PC.I use SSL on my MAC with and External HDD.Now I want to use SSL on my PC. So I have another External HDD for my PC.so I copied the music from the MAC External to the PC External drive.but Konix your saying.I cannot copy the contents of the.ScratchLIVE folder on my (MAC)External HDD to the.ScratchLIVE folder on my (PC)External HDD??Well I've done just that and the crates/subcrates I created on my MAC show up on my PC.the only problem is that some tracks are missing in some of the crates.but the crate structure is still intact.any clue why that is happening!?
Well, first, you don't really need to use two separate external hard drives, unless the one you use on your Mac is HFS and/or your PC one is formatted NFTS. If the drive is formatted FAT32, then you can use them on both Mac and PC no problem.Anyway, are you sure you have the folder structures the same for both drives. The folder structures have to be identical as crates. So, if all your music on you Mac external drive is in this path.External/Music/2007/Rap/then on your PC external drive you have to have the same structure and path for all the songs.
So on your PC drive, go to the root of the drive, make a folder named 'Music,' go into the Music folder and make a new folder named '2007,' go into that folder and make another new folder named 'Rap,' then finally copy/paste all the songs into the Rap folder from the Mac external drive. Then copy the crate files from the hidden.ScratchLIVE folder on the Mac ext drive and put them in the hidden.ScratchLIVE folder on the root of the PC ext drive.
If all goes well this should work. 10 mb pc game download. Let me know if you need more help/info. Hi DJ Shy, sorry about the delay getting back to you. There's a fix for this in the upcoming 1.7.2 version, so look out for that when it comes into Public Beta. The problem only occurs with files that were imported using the Import panel in ScratchLIVE, when moving from the Mac to the PC the path to these files in the crate could not be read and therefore the files went missing from the crates. An empty crate is deleted on exit so that's why the crates disappear after that. While we finish off 1.7.2, you can avoid this problem by using Finder to import songs on the Mac (drag songs or folders from Finder into the Library/crate/new crate button) instead of using the Import panel. Thats how I've always imported songs into serato.I've been always draggin folders/songs from FINDER in to Serato crates.I've never ever used the import panel in serato.hopefully in 1.7.2 we won't have the problem. Thanks again.
Ok.so i tried one more time, and I think I ran into a NEW problem.I copied the.ScratchLive folder once again from my MAC External, and copied it to my PC External.opened up 1.7.2beta.
