Feb 23, 2016 Additional information on the Universal Termsrv.dll patch is available on DeepXW's blog site, which lists 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) OS support for the patch on Windows XP SP2 SP3, Windows Vista SP1 SP2, and Windows 7 operating systems. There is a new patch called Universal TermSrv Patch available for Windows 7 computers. Download the zipped file and extract the content onto your computer. There are 2 patch executable files, one for 32-bit and one for the 64-bit edition of Windows 7. Launch one that suits your operating system you want to patch.
NOTE: As of 6/27/2018 Microsoft has released a patched 1803 Remote Desktop client to resolve several outstanding bugs, including the 'popup windows hidden' and 'right-click menus hidden' bugs. This update should only be run on Windows 10 version 1803 that has had earlier Alltek rollbacks or patches applied. This will resolve the 'mstscax.dll does not match mstsc.exe' issue after the latest update has run, or prevent this error if applied before the new patch.
